We're big fans of bees around here. Bumblebees, honey bees, mason bees, all kinds of bees! So we named these treasures after a part of Batwa culture, who historically harvested honey from bees found both in tree hives and hives in the ground. Fascinating; Read our article on The Importance of Honey to the Batwa People.
The medium-sized bowl measures approximately 8" wide and 3" tall, perfect for a few pieces of fruit, a candy bowl, or a gorgeous wall accent piece. Pair it with the flat tray/trivet for a discount or buy the trivet alone. The trivet measures 8" wide and is around 1/3" thick. The colors are a bold yellow and dark forest green raffia (not black) and these woven around the natural reeds used to make all of our baskets.
